Yes, I am finding on Substack, Notes is the gateway.

When most read my Notes, others will get to reading my Posts.

Gateway = Notes, short form

Trust and Awareness = Posts

Everyone says it and it's true for me as well. More than most of my engagement and subscribers come from Notes.

Mine, oddly enough, is about even between Notes and my posts. I honestly attribute it to not pushing a wall of text on people with my newsletter. I do write longer form stuff and post it on Medium, but I give the option of reading it by making it a link they can check out if they want. It works pretty well for me.
