Most affiliate programs are designed backwards.
They promise huge commissions on products you've never used.
They spam you with "exclusive offers" for audiences you don't understand.
They treat affiliates like walking billboards instead of actual partners.
I hate that approach.
So, I went for something different.
The Problem with Typical Affiliate Programs
Here's what's broken with 90% of affiliate programs out there:
Low commissions that insult your time. 3-5% on a $47 product means you earn $2 for recommending something to people who trust you. Your reputation is worth more than two dollars.
Products you don't actually use. How can you honestly recommend something you've never touched? Yet most programs push affiliates to promote everything in their catalog.
Zero relationship with the creator. You're just a link-clicking stranger generating sales for someone who doesn't know your name.
Complicated signup processes. Applications, interviews, minimum follower counts. As if they're doing you a favor by letting you make them money.
How My Program Actually Works
I offer 25% to 50% (almost all are 50%) commissions because your recommendation is worth something. When someone trusts your judgment enough to buy based on your word, you should get paid accordingly.
The signup process is stupidly simple:
Create a free Gumroad account (takes 2 minutes)
Start sharing products you actually believe in
That's it. No interviews, no minimum followers, no jumping through hoops.
What You're Actually Promoting
These aren't random products I threw together hoping someone would buy them. Each guide solves a specific operational problem I've encountered building my own creator business:
Systems guides, templates, and frameworks for creators who want to build sustainably, not burn out chasing growth hacks.
I use these systems myself. They're field-tested, not theory. When you recommend them, you're recommending solutions that actually work.
The Numbers That Matter
New products get added regularly, so there are multiple opportunities to earn throughout the year. A motivated affiliate could realistically earn $100-$500 monthly just by sharing useful stuff with their audience with very minimal effort.
That's not "quit your job" money, but it's solid supplemental income for doing what good creators already do: recommend tools and resources that help people.
Why This Approach Works Better
Higher commissions mean you need fewer sales. Instead of pushing volume, you can focus on quality recommendations to the right people.
Real products you can test first. Let me know if you want to try something out, and I’ll get it to you. (Just keep it reasonable is all I ask.) Use it. If it doesn't work for you, don't promote it. Simple.
Ongoing relationship, not transaction. I'm building long-term partnerships with creators who understand their audiences and want to serve them well.
The Type of Partners I Want
I'm not looking for affiliate armies or conversion optimizers. I want creators who:
Actually use or believe in the products they recommend
Have audiences who trust their judgment
Value substance over hype
Want to build something sustainable
If that's you, this program makes sense. If you're looking to spam affiliate links everywhere, it doesn't.
Getting Started
The barrier to entry is intentionally low. Create your Gumroad account, apply through the affiliate link, and start exploring what's available.
No complex funnels, no pitch decks, no "exclusive mastermind" nonsense. Just useful products, fair commissions, and the kind of partnership that actually serves everyone involved.
Your audience gets solutions that work. You get paid properly for quality recommendations. I get customers who are more likely to implement and see results.
That's how affiliate marketing should work.
Ready to try something different? Apply to become an affiliate here and start building the kind of partnership that actually makes sense.
So true. I can’t recommend something I haven’t used. I will also only recommend to people I believe will find the product beneficial. Which is why I am making virtually nothing through my affiliate links.
I know some people use affiliate marketing for their get rich quick ideal. I can’t do that. I’m playing a longer game.
I will look at your products and see if a) they will help me and b) they will help my contacts/ subscribers/ followers.
