Quick Start Guide: Gumroad Affiliates

1. Go to the Affiliates Dashboard

• Log in to your Gumroad dashboard.

• Click on “Affiliates” in the left-hand sidebar (if you don’t see it, look under the “Marketing” or “Products” sections depending on your version, or go directly to gumroad.com/dashboard/affiliates).

2. Add an Affiliate

• Click the “Add Affiliate” button.

• Enter their email address.

  • Critical Note: Since you are targeting other Gumroad store owners, use the email address associated with their Gumroad account. This ensures their payouts are automated and they see your product in their existing dashboard immediately.

3. Set the Share Percentage

• Enter the commission percentage you want to give them (e.g., 30%, 50%).

• Tip: For fellow creators, 50% is the standard “professional courtesy” rate. It motivates them to push your product as hard as their own.

4. Select Products

• Choose “All products” or select specific ones you want them to sell.

• Click “Add”. Gumroad will email them their unique link automatically.
